Popular South Korean girl band Red Velvet released a teaser of their upcoming track 'Zimzalabim' Monday, June 17 and the teaser's theme seems to center on surrealism with a pop of vibrant colors. This is the title track of the band's upcoming mini-album titled 'The ReVe Festival: Day 1.' Audio teasers of a couple of other songs have also been shared so far.

The set up of 'Zimzalabim' is an amusement park and the five girl members -  Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri - are seen taking a rollercoaster ride in the teaser. Only, it is not just any amusement park. The surreal element kicks in pretty soon to a great electric instrumental. In a word, the teaser is eclectic!

The song is composed by Olaf Lindskog, Daniel Caesar, Ludwig Lindell and Hayley Aitken and as the name of the album suggests, the track is celebratory in mood. The band also released the audio teaser of the track 'Bing Bing' June 16 along with Wendy's look in the upcoming album on Twitter and the number is celebratory and pretty hep.

This was followed by teaser images of Irene from the upcoming album along with the audio teaser of another track titled 'Sunny Side Up'. This song is composed by Moonshine, Ellen Berg and Cazzy Opeia while the former was composed by Will Simms, Yiva Dimberg and Neil Athale.

Their previous albums titled 'The Red' in 2015 and 'Perfect Velvet' in 2017 also compose a similar kind of music, which the band has been playing and recording since the beginning. Predominantly, the 'Red' half of the band works on pop music and the 'Velvet' half works with R&B, with a mix of other genres such as electronic pop, hip-hop and disco.

The album is set to release June 19 at 6 p.m. Korean Standard Time (5 a.m. ET).
