Reba McEntire announces new tour and promises to continue lighting up arenas and faces of fans in 2020

As the reigning Queen of Country, Reba has had a pretty packed 2019. But that has not stopped the country music legend from embarking on an arena tour in 2020 and being nominated for the upcoming Grammy Music Awards in January

Reba McEntire is more than just a country music superstar — she's also a national treasure and living legend.

When Carrie Underwood recently revealed that she would be stepping down as host of the Country Music Awards, she admitted that one of the highlights from her 12-year tenure would be the memory of co-hosting the 2019 CMAs with exalted music icons like Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton.

When a global superstar like Carrie Underwood thanks you in the very first line of her farewell post, you know you've made a lasting impact on the music industry!

As the reigning Queen of Country, Reba McEntire has had a pretty packed 2019. After 42 years in the music business, 56 million albums sold worldwide, and appearances on a number of hit TV shows (next year will mark the 20th anniversary of her popular TV show 'Reba'), most artistes tend to take it down a notch and ease into a more comfortable lifestyle.

But not Reba McEntire — her appetite for good old fashioned hard work knows no bounds, as evidenced by her charismatic performances this year at the 53rd annual CMA awards, the 54th annual ACM awards, and her latest Grammy-nominated 2019 album, 'Stronger Than The Truth', which is receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Reba also picked up a Grammy win last year in the Gospel music category and was honored with an Artist of a Lifetime award at the 2019 CMT Artists of the Year ceremony.

Coincidentally enough, Reba's latest Grammy nomination arrived at the same time that her 1994 classic album, 'Read My Mind', turned 25.

"Well, it is pretty ironic that it did come at the same time. I don't know if it's a full circle or happy coincidence or what – but I'm going to take it," McEntire said in a recent interview.

"It’s really a thrill to be nominated. Being in the business for some 40-odd years, and people still liking what you do, that’s a sure good feeling," she added.

Reba has also recently announced some great news for fans in 2020! She has a brand-new arena tour — Reba: Live in Concert 2020 — that will kick off in Evansville, Indiana, on March 20, 2020.

It will take the beloved music icon (along with talented singer/songwriter Caylee Hammack) on a 12-city tour across the nation, wrapping up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on May 2020.

"I have always loved to entertain and to be entertained so I couldn't be more thrilled to head back out on the road and sing for the fans every night," announced a happy Reba.

"We have so many talented females creating new music and having Caylee join us will be a lot of fun!" she added.

And if that weren't enough to whet the appetite of fans, Reba also has a new original podcast coming out in early 2020, joining the likes of Kevin Bacon and other celebrities who have an exclusive tie-up with the streaming platform Spotify.

Fans all over the globe will soon be able to tune in for Reba's signature wit and wisdom as she shares refreshingly honest takes on navigating life's challenges and the pursuit of happiness alongside an expert panel of guests.

There certainly still is a resounding demand for Reba — her latest numbers on Spotify reveal over 56 million streams in 2019 alone. We can't wait to see what the legendary artiste will be doing in 2020 and beyond!
