ZUTPHEN, NETHERLANDS: 'American Idol' Season 22 Golden Ticket winner Ziggy Krassenberg bagged the reality TV star of the week title with his 'emotional' and 'best' ABC show audition.

Ziggy delivered a soulful performance of Lady Gaga's song, 'Million Reasons'. His performance left all ABC show judges, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, on their feet.

After getting bullied in the past, the aspiring pop star revealed that he came to America "to show the world what I can do."

Ziggy apologized for a voice crack during his performance and managed to receive praise for the second chorus. The judges awarded him a standing ovation.

Luke claimed that Ziggy's audition was "one of the best performances of the day." Ziggy also shared his struggle with the judges that his mother was a drug addict, and he rarely met her.

The ABC show contestant claimed that the relationship with his father was 'complicated'. Ziggy claimed that he 'raised' himself.

However, Lionel got emotional and promised the aspiring singer, "You raised you. Now we are going to raise you up." The judge also shared that he had been trying to be accepted by people his whole life.

Ziggy Krassenberg wants to be a 'pop star'

'American Idol' Season 22 contestant, Ziggy Krassenberg, 22, held a fun and charming personality which was reflected on the ABC show. He started singing at a young age and wanted to be a pop star.

During his introductory video, Ziggy flaunted a necklace with his name on it and claimed that people would "never" forget him.

He added that he wanted to be a pop star since he was born. Ziggy was only 15 when he reached the finale of 'Dutch Idol.'

During the audition for the ABC show, host Ryan Seacrest recognized Ziggy and asked him about his 'Dutch Idol' journey. The contestant revealed that he was eliminated after bagging 7th position in the Dutch singing competition.

Ziggy never lost hope and auditioned for 'The Voice' before he headed to America.

He shared, "I think the Netherlands is too small for a guy like me, I had to come to America to show the world what I can do."

Ziggy Krassenberg reflects on 'cotton candy' bully

'American Idol' Season 22 star Ziggy Krassenberg reflected on the bullying and negative comments he had been receiving throughout his singing journey for his vibrant personality.

He revealed that he had a "big personality" in his hometown that wasn't the most "likable." Ziggy added that critics called him "cotton candy."

Katy appreciated his strength and commented, "People online say all kinds of things about you, and maybe some of those comments have affected you. Perhaps there's something inside you that says, 'I just need a little shot to show my true self.'"

Meanwhile in a recent podcast with Ryan Seacrest, Ziggy shared how anyone could deal with the bully.

The ABC show contestant shared, "People are just really hateful on that. When I was younger, I had dreams and I think it's really important in life to stick to your dreams. If you really believe in what's gonna happen and it's gonna happen."

He added, "Don't act like an icon, be an icon, and even when you like the whole country is against you, just focus on who you are and just focus on I want to make a difference."
