The indie rap legend and co-founder of Strange Music Records, Tech N9ne, who is known for his blazing fast rapid-fire bars, recently posted a social media update about his upcoming album 'More Fear', which will arrive in August. The American hip-hop star, whose real name is Aaron Dontez Yates, posted a lyrical snippet from his upcoming song 'Specter' while promoting his next album on Instagram.

This will be the rapper's 23rd album once it comes out on the heels of 'Enter Fear', which was released in April of this year during the coronavirus quarantine period. Tech N9ne's recent post was a verse from his unreleased song 'Specter', and was accompanied by the caption - "#SPECTER #MOREFEAR COMING IN AUGUST."

You can check out the lyrics he posted here below:

"I feel like I'm a ghost, cause I be doin' the most
My people try to boast about the 20-year independent
But they praise another label up on Revolt (F.V.)
They never play O.G., Tecca N9na like I pay no fee
I ain't trippin' or takin' peyote
But I dropped it in 09 and 9 years later another artist dropped a record called K.O.D!
Looked over the flow spit, I'm not on the GOAT list if that ain't ghost s*** what is it? (bulls***)
A 'N9ncian know that I'm so fit to go with the dopest and know they fa sho get the bidness (full clip)."

The collated lyrics to the song 'Specter' are available here, which includes another lyrical snippet that had been previewed earlier.

With these lyrics, the rapper seems to be declaring that he's still one of the best rappers in the game. After all Tech N9ne got his stage name from the rapper Black Walt, who likened his machine gun-like flow to the TEC-9 semi-automatic handgun. The rapper also seems to be calling out the music Press for not giving him enough love and not ranking him on the greatest of all-time (GOAT) list.

Tech N9ne also draws attention to the fact that he dropped an album called 'KOD' back in 2009, but another famous rapper, namely J Cole, was widely hailed by the hip-hop industry after he released his own 'KOD' album in 2018. The rapper thus expresses his scorn by saying that he feels like ghost who isn't even being acknowledged by the mainstream media despite him being one of the OGs in the industry who started his career back in the early 90s. It looks like another incendiary album will be on our hands once 'More Fear' finally drops in August!
