Rapper Future entertained fans over the weekend with a show at the EKO Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. At the concert, one fan got so overwhelmed by the power of his performance that he tried to crash the stage.

In a viral clip, the fan can be seen hopping onto the stage in an attempt to hug the rapper, only to be swooped by the security to get him out of the way. There is no update on whether the fan was kicked out from the event or simply released back into the crowd.

After looking at the video, several Twitter users expressed their disappointment at the fan's action. "Can fans stop this attitude of jumping on stage while artists are performing. Lol, it’s really annoying," one tweet read and another said, "He got to be scared tho, cus he probably must have heard stories about this God-forsaken country so the man had to be on the lookout."

One fan even went on to post, "And that is why there is a place for fans to watch, and artist to perform... don't go jumping on stage like you have a score to settle with Future." Many others simply joked about the incident. One fan said, "What if Future pulled outa gun??" and another posted, "The landing was devilish."

This year turned out to be gratifying for the 36-year-old rapper, who clinched his sixth Billboard 200 No. 1 album with 'The Wizrd'. He earlier said that the album will “close the chapter out of everything” he has done so far up until now.

What's more, the rapper was recently spotted at a McDonald's restaurant with Drake and was touted to be shooting a new music video. Fans are particularly intrigued to know if the two are collaborating as 2020 marks the fifth anniversary of Future and Drake's 2015 classic 'What a Time to Be Alive'.
