Quavo's 's**t talking' may have been partly to blame for Takeoff's death, comedian Shawty Shawty claims
LAWRENCEVILLE, GEORGIA: The untimely death of Takeoff shocked his fans, friends and family. As per reports, the rapper's uncle Quavo may have been partially responsible for his death as he started an argument at a bowling alley in Houston on November 1, 2022, that ultimately led to the shooting. In a recent interview, comedian Shawty Shawty said that he met the two rappers' relatives and learned details about the circumstances behind the tragic incident.
According to Shawty, Quavo was unhappy because he wanted to confront the host as he thought the dice were not rolled correctly. "Quavo dominates in a whole lot of things, basketball, all of this," Shawty said on the 'Ugly Money' podcast. "So, they say they had been shooting basketball earlier, and then they got to the bowling alley, and they said there was a dice game. And they say that Quavo noticed that the dice were not right, and that's where the argument started," he added. Takeoff was fatally shot while attending a private party with Quavo.

Shawty continued, "Quavo-Everybody know Quavo got a mouth. Everybody know Quavo talked junk. I don't think that was the atmosphere to talk s**t. You got to respect." He went on saying that Takeoff and Quavo should not have been gambling at the first place. "When you make it to a certain point-God took you past that point so you don't fall backwards," he said, adding that even he does not do shows in "certain hoods" because he does not want "the same hod that I got out of, snatch me back."
Takeoff was shot and killed after a brawl broke out as he and Quavo were playing dice at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas. According to the police, he was an innocent bystander during the altercation at the bowling alley. The 28-year-old star was fatally shot by Patrick Xavier Clark, who was arrested and charged with murder on December 1, 2022. He was released on a $1M bond on January 4.
Quavo shared a heartwrenching post on Instagram detailing his close relationship with Takeoff on November 12, 2022. "It's so hard to tell you I miss you because you were always with me and we did everything together. You've been by my side since we were kids, looking up at me, those eyes waiting for me to make the next move... then you followed right behind me," Quavo wrote on Instagram.
