Why did Prince Charles stop taking Harry's phone calls? Internet says Prince of Wales 'needs to finally be a man'

Harry also revealed that he had had three conversations with the Queen and two with Charles before the calls stopped being answered

In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dished some details on their experience as a married royal couple. There have been many revelations as of now – for example, Markle had received no guidance or support and that she had suicidal thoughts, at one point because her life was isolated and lonely. She told her husband, "I knew that if I didn't say it, that I would do it – and I just didn't want to be alive anymore." Amid their eye-opening interview, Prince Harry also shared that his father, Prince Charles, had to stop answering his phone calls, at a time people are considering a father would be needed the most. In the interview, Harry said when he and Markle were stepping away from their royal duties, his father wouldn't pick up his phone calls. Since then though, the duo's speaking.

People were downright trolling Charles, with no limitations, with one user writing, "Prince Charles is a Bloodclart. not picking up phone from his son bet he’s still taking plenty calls from camilla with her gangrene front." Another added, "I’m honestly no surprised Charles wasn’t answering Harry’s phone calls and poor Harry defending him... he does not need protecting he’s an asshole !!!" Yet another added, "Heck, it means nothing when you're receiving death threats daily and security is being purposely pulled away from you. Such overwhelming cruelty towards them. I think Harry's statement about Charles rejecting his phone calls put the nail in the coffin of Charles' ascension."

Harry also revealed that he had had three conversations with the Queen and two with Charles before the calls weren't being answered. His father had asked his son to put his decision of stepping back from the royal family in writing, and Harry did so, "including specifics like the date they planned to make the announcement." Winfrey also asked Harry why his father stopped taking his calls, - "Because by that point, I took matters into my own hands. I needed to do this for my family. This is not a surprise to anybody, it's really sad that it's gotten to this point, but I've got to do something, for my own mental health and my wife's. And for Archie's as well, because I could see where this is headed," he said.

Twitter continued to troll Prince Charles following Markle's shocking revelations. "I get the feeling it was Charles. Harry made a point to say he has so much respect for his grandmother but about his father he told us Charles stopped taking his phone calls. He never supported Diana, now he’s repeating history with his son," tweeted one user. Another added, "Charles needs to FINALLY be a man and be a father to his youngest son. This wasn’t a phone call from Vegas from Harry caught playing nude pool. It was his family’s safety."
