LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prime Video is bringing back the last and final season of  'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel'. Midge has come a long way on the journey that began in Season 1. From her cozy life on the Upper West Side to the cafes and nightclubs of Greenwich Village, she navigated the city's comedy scene jumping through hurdles. With Season 5, we'll see how she matured, achieved her goals, and brought her journey to an end.

The second episode of Season 5 walks back and forth in between the present and future and shows us a glimpse into the world of Rachel Brosnahan's Midge and the people around her and what happened to them. Yes, to answer your question, Midge has become a big-time comic, and yes, she is traveling the world. Although Midge didn't find love and got married several times, she did quite make a life for herself and became the person she dreamed to be.

Finding the perfect sitting dress

After the entire brawl that took place in the previous season, Midge returns to the stage for the first time in Episode 2 of 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' and performs her first act at a strip club. Gordon Ford (Reid Scott), a well-known comedy talk show presenter, stops by the club and notices how funny Midge is. Midge's manager, Susie, decides to take advantage of the situation by asking Ford to recruit her and tries to market her work. Ford accepts and invites Midge to start working as a comedy writer on Monday. Midge is shocked, but she decides to avoid jeopardizing her future and starts preparing for her big day. She points out that she has always stood up for her act and has never needed to sit while doing so, so she finds herself a sitting dress so she could sit and work.

Soon after joining the Ford show's writers' room, Midge begins to feel neglected, as the only female on the team. The episode reminded us of the movie 'Late Night', where Mindy Kaling tries to fit into a team despite being the only female writer.

From stand-up comedian to comedy writer

In the beginning, Midge's jokes aren't accepted by the team who always seem to ignore her input. But, one day, Ford picks up her joke for the show and the audience finds it funny. Of course, right after which the dynamics between the writer's team and Midge change. Watch 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' exclusively available on Prime Video.
