LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Citadel' has been creating a buzz for its action-packed storyline and the fine performances by the best on-screen duo, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden. The series took off back in April and has since been a top-tier espionage series so far. While we were waiting for Priyanka Chopra Jonas to grace us with her exceptional acting skills, and well, she didn't disappoint. Episode 3 has just been released, and while we are already on our couch processing the storyline of this episode, let's get into the intricate details of this episode and our thoughts on the same.

Like every other episode, the third episode of the season took another skeleton from the closet and presented it to us unannounced. While the show promises a thrill-filled ride throughout, it sure does take much time jumps to get the audience in the loop of what happened in the past and what led to the moment we are witnessing right now. All new episodes for 'Citadel' releases every Friday only on Prime Video.

The story till now

As we saw in the last two episodes, there is an evil agency out to get Citadel and wants everything about it gone, with no trace left. 'Citadel' aims to be more than just a spy series with action, amnesia and emotional turmoil. Time jumps have been a constant theme and audiences are getting a hang of the past, while traveling into the present. While Richard Madden's character Mason Kane is trying to wrap his head around his life before he lost all memories, Priyanka Chopra Jonas' Nadia Sinh has regained her memories. While many flashbacks suggest that Nadia Sinh and Mason Kane were the exceptional spy duo, there were some secrets that get unveiled in Episode 3. Mason Kane being vulnerable and mentally lost makes him an easy target for false stories and propaganda. Will Mason trust Nadia? or will they part ways after this very crucial mission.

Is Nadia Sinh hiding something?

Due to Mason's vulnerability and his lack of memories, he tends to get into situations that is far away from being in his favor. Episode 3 takes us on a ride, when Nadia remembers everything about her life before the train accident, she and Mason hide in a secret Citadel hideout from being found out by Manticore. While on a mission to Morocco to find details about the killing of 'Citadel' spies, a crime lord tells Mason about Nadia and him being a great team, but then reveals something truly astonishing. He continues to say that Nadia is a double agent and on the unfateful day of the train accident, Nadia lured Mason, so she could witness his death and will be successful in killing all Citadel spies. After this, Mason confronts Nadia, but she waives off the blaming and doesn't really open up about it, hinting at the fact that she is hiding something. Only time will tell what is Nadia's real motives and what is in store for both Mason and Nadia.

'Citadel' is now available to watch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video with a new episode releasing every Friday.
