CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Rusty Sabich's (Jake Gyllenhaal) life is being rocked by shocking discoveries in each new episode of Apple TV+'s courtroom thriller series 'Presumed Innocent.'

The drama, created by David E. Kelley, tells the story of Rusty, a reputable prosecutor who faces legal trouble after his secret girlfriend and colleague Carolyn Polhemus (Renate Reinsve) is murdered.

Rusty continues to insist on his innocence, and in his attempt to prove it, he stumbles upon a shocking discovery that threatens his family's life.

Rusty already has enough on his plate, but when an anonymous text suggests he was at Carolyn's house on the day of her murder, he becomes alarmed.

His concerns are alleviated when he realizes that his blackmailer is none other than Michael Caldwell (Tate Birchmore), Carolyn's son.

Michael tells Rusty that he has photographic proof of Rusty's presence at Carolyn's house on the day of the murder, which he has handed over to Tommy Molto (Peter Sarsgaard).

Tommy initially refuses to disclose any information about the proofs, citing the need for authentication.

However, when Raymond Horgan (Bill Camp) requests judicial intervention, Tommy is forced to comply and share the photographs and videos with Rusty and Raymond.

Later, while reviewing the evidence, Rusty is stunned to see his son Kyle Sabich (Kingston Rumi Southwick) outside Carolyn's home on the fateful night of her murder.

Is Kyle Sabich a witness or the culprit behind Carolyn Polhemus' murder?

The bombshell revelation hints at further challenges and dilemmas for Rusty, as he now must not only establish his innocence but also protect his son Kyle.

The possibility that Kyle has some involvement in the crime adds another layer of complications, potentially leading to dramatic confrontations between father and son and raising concerns about Kyle's intentions and innocence.

Rusty may go to extraordinary lengths to protect his son, including tampering with evidence or obstructing justice to conceal Kyle's presence at the murder site.

Additionally, it is plausible that Rusty is responsible for the grisly murder, as shown in the episode when Kyle questions what Rusty will do if he is offered a guilty plea agreement.

It implies that Kyle is aware of information that could implicate Rusty as the murderer.

Overall, the next episode will be critical in determining Kyle's role and how Rusty will handle this new challenge, which threatens to unravel his entire defense.
