MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle has again become people’s target online after she was seen present at her friend Misan Harriman’s TED Talk virtually. In the recent sighting, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted donning a sleek and straight hair look, which was said to be quite different from her usual hairstyle.

Some claimed on Twitter that Meghan tried to look like her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, while some accused her of going under the knife. There were many who also alleged that the mother-of-two took the plastic surgery route to copy Princess Catherine. A user tweeted, “PLASTIC SURGERY ALERT? Sad Meghan Markle wants to be Kate Middleton so bad. Pathetic creature. Tom Cruise any never walking you down the red carpet. 'She is made of toffee now'

Another user shared, “Those cheeks implants are a disaster!!” The third one remarked, “You want to be Kate.” The fourth user wrote, “Wait so she is made of toffee now and some wrinkles have been smoothed out and hair straightened and....if not for the piggy eyes we wouldn't recognize her.”

A critic said, “The wonderful thing is that no matter how much she tries, the beauty of the Princess of Wales is not just what we see outside, but its her dignified, kind and genuine soul that shines through. MM looks so entitled here, still riding on her title too. Its sad.” Another critic added, “Omg. 'Both women are beautiful'

However, not everyone was against Meghan as a supporter tweeted, “I don't see any comparisons at all. You guys attack her for the stupidest things.  Let the woman live her life.” Another one said, “If straight hair is the standard.. it’s more like Kate is copying Meghan.”

A tweet read, “Naturally out of your minds. Markle is MUCH more beautiful than Kate.  Both women are beautiful. But there's no way you can even match Kate to Markle. But I forget that's the thing that made you hate her in the first place. A black woman who is prettier than Your beloved Kate.” “Sad you feel the need to attack women..the only sick person is you...are you obsessed jealous or just a bully,” the second tweet added.

'She'd have to sit at the back'

The recent controversy came after it was reported that Meghan revealed that she opted out of King Charles’ coronation on May 6 because of Princess Catherine. Royal author Tom Bower said as per the New York Post, “We must all be grateful that Kate, in the end, I think, prevented Meghan from coming, and said she ‘wouldn’t have her there under any circumstances.’ And if she [Markle] did come, she’d have to sit at the back.” The expert added, “I do think that for the royal family, Harry’s presence is constitutionally important. God forbid, the Cambridges all died, we’d have King Harry on the throne after Charles, so he’s got to be there.”
