P!nk hospitalized after canceling second show in Sydney
P!nk has been hospitalized after postponing her scheduled performance in Sydney tonight (Aug 6), and has been diagnosed with a gastric virus. The 38-year-old singer was admitted to the hospital in Sydney, Australia, after suffering from dehydration.
In a statement released by tour promoters Live Nation, it has been revealed the singer has been in and out of hospital over the past few days. “On medical advice, P!NK’s performance scheduled for tonight (August 6) at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has been postponed,” the statement reads.
“Pink was admitted to St Vincents Hospital in Sydney on Sunday night, suffering from dehydration. She was treated and discharged. She was readmitted to hospital today and diagnosed with a gastric virus. On medical advice Pink will remain in hospital overnight, continuing her treatment and recovery," the statement adds. “A further announcement will be made when an update becomes available.”
