People’s Choice Awards Worst Dressed: Fashion fails from Olivia Wilde and Erika Jayne to Noveen Crumbie

Olivia Wilde
The ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ director chose a gown from the esteemed house of Dior, but maybe her sheer lace look was not the best choice for an award show broadcasted on network TV. Many fans seemed shocked to have seen Harry Style’s ex’s nipples on their screens, while a few wondered if the lace number was her “revenge dress.”
Kelly Clarkson
Those that did not spot the ‘Stronger’ singer at People’s Choice Awards, we only have one thing to ask, “HOW?” The songstress’ BLARING red dress was surely a massive red signal on the purple carpet and did not go unnoticed. And to top it all off, it even included cascades of ruffles that added to its confetti-like appearance.
Shania Twain
This one’s definitely on the best and worst-dressed list simultaneously. Shania Twain, wore a see-through leopard print ensemble that served as an homage to her ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ music video, which featured a similar hooded outfit. But while the look was a wonderful callback, the semi-sheer Rodarte outfit didn’t really sit well with many of the songstress’ fans, who compared it to a Halloween costume.
Erika Jayne
We have only one word for this one: Stormtrooper. The ‘RHOBH’ star opted for a Balmain fit that hugged her curves in all the right places but gave people all the wrong vibes. The monotone color palate and the 'X-ray' print made Erika resemble the recognizable “villains” from ‘Star Wars’.
Sarah Hyland
To be fair, she wore a pretty cute outfit. But entirely too busy with all its litle details. The giant plaque ribbon on the shoulder, the exaggerated cascades of frills and its teeny tiny length make it look like there's too much happening in one area. It also somehow gives off a "trendy Wednesday Adams" vibe.
Jessica Betts
Jessica Betts and her wife Niecy Nash decided to match their outfits for the event with a cerulean blue/green color blocked tracksuit and a mint green body hugging dress. But the singer's tracksuit kind of makes us think that perhaps Jessica has to travel back in time to the 1970s to coach a middle school basketball team right after the awards ceremony.
Ellen Pompeo
Another 1970s inspired look but with a hint of disco. The 'Grey's Anatomy' star donned a shimmering multi-colored jumpsuit that totally did not flatter the actress. The ill-fitting jumpsuit also sports two random cut-outs under the biceps and cinches awkwardly at the TV star's waistline.
Heidi Klum
While the supermodel is known for her fashion sense, this Maison Blanche ensemble looked like a pinned together and unfinished masterpiece that was about to fall apart any minute. But we will give credit where credit is due and praise Heidi for her impeccable styling with the thigh-high boots.
Noveen Crumbie
We really wonder what was going through Noveen Crumbie's mind that this pink disaster seemed like the perfect outfit for the People's Choice purple carpet. No offence to the actress, but the ensemble has a flurry of of ruffles, rows of frills, irridescent fabric, gathers and layers, all in a loud and bold splash of pink. Was the overall look inspired by the jellyfish or a pink loofah? You decide.
Sutton Stracke
The 'RHOBH' star took a more tonal approach and opted for a black slit dress. But, her ensemble struck out as too bland and the silhouette’s high neckline and covered shoulders gave the dress an ill-fitting appearance and left the star looking like she had no neck.
