Pearl Jam to headline BST Hyde Park festival in 2020, announce dates for new European tour

You might want to sit down for this, folks. Pearl Jam will be headlining British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park festival in 2020! 

The annual concert series that was headlined by Robbie Williams and Celine Dion in 2019 will see Pearl Jam performing on Friday, July 10. 

The five-time AMA-winning rock band will reportedly also embark on a 13-date European tour in June and July of 2020. This tour will mark the band's first live appearance in around two years.

Eddie Vedder and the gang will kick off the tour on June 23 in Frankfurt and will play the last show on July 23 in Amsterdam. Special guests who will open the show during the tour include Pixies, IDLES, and the White Rapper with more acts to be announced soon.

The tour includes four festival headlining dates at Lollapalooza Stockholm in Sweden, Lollapalooza Paris in France, Rock Werchter in Belgium and, of course, BST Hyde Park.

The bands' performance in Frankfurt will mark their first in the city since 1992, in Budapest since 1996 and in Zurich since 2000. 

A special ticket pre-sale for the nom festival dates are already available for the current Pearl Jam Ten Club Members, and the general public ticket sale will be available from December 7 at 10 am GMT. 

The tickets for Lollapalooza Stockholm are already available and the tickets for their Paris concert will go on sale on December 4th. Their tickets for Rock Werchter go for sale on December 6th. Apart from that, the Pearl Jam Ten Club also launched a '12 Days of Pearl Jam' holiday playlist.
