The reboot series of Fox's 'Party of Five' has pleased its fans in more ways than one. Steeped in emotions and drama, the series showcases the harsh realities of life through the lens of the Acosta siblings.

With their parents Gloria (Fernanda Urrejola) and Javier Acosta (Bruno Bichir) having been deported to Mexico, the children are now on their own navigating life as individuals rather than as a family.

However, that doesn’t reduce Emilio Acosta's (Brandon Larracuente) burden, who has been forced by the situation to take up his parents' responsibilities.

Episode 3 of the 'Party of Five' reboot series saw Emilio Acosta lead his father's restaurant while fighting his own battles with uncle Louis and the state's stern laws.

Despite Emilio going to great lengths to ensure the family business flourishes, the Acosta siblings face a severe financial crisis.

The preview of Episode 4 sees Emilio take up an odd job as a performer in a party hosted by a Mexican family. He takes his sibling along assuming it to be a fun way to make some extra bucks while also bonding as a family.

However, their frolic soon comes to an end when Beto Acosta is caught getting frisky with the daughter of the couple that hired the Acosta siblings to perform at their party.

The episode also shows Lucia express her disinterest in Emilio's odd job, as she tells him to quit. Meanwhile, little Valentina through an authorized call to Gloria learns about her mother’s new job, a caretaker to a stranger's child.

The thought of her mother playing guardian to another child while she struggles to even make a phone call leaves Valentina devastated.

Gloria had caused Valentina enough damage by refusing to communicate with her on a daily basis. And now, her abandoned daughter is hurt more as she struggles to come to terms with her mother's new job in a foreign country.

In the upcoming episode, it remains to be seen if the Acosta siblings can cope as a family with the new challenges life has thrown at them.

Episode 4 of 'Party of Five' airs on Wednesdays on Freeform.
