Paquita La Del Barrio to perform at Estrella Media's Cinco de Mayo concerts in LA and Houston
Los Angeles, California (Release): Estrella Media has announced that Paquita la del Barrio will headline its annual Cinco de Mayo events in Los Angeles and Houston. Que Buena Los Angeles will present its annual Cinco de Mayo event at Plaza México in Lynwood, CA on Sunday, May 5 from noon to 8pm, and La Raza and El Norte radio stations in Houston will present their event at Escapade 2001 on Sunday May 19, from 1.30pm to 8pm. Both events are free and open to the public.

Paquita la del Barrio is an iconic Grammy-winning artist, songwriter, and actress. She has sold over 20 million records/CDs and is currently on her Farewell Tour as she retires from active touring. Her live performances are characterized by songs showcasing strong women who are standing up for themselves and challenging macho male attitudes. One of the original feminists in Latin music, her music has amassed and captivated audiences internationally.
