BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND: Comedian Rickey Smiley's oldest son Brandon Smiley, died at the age of 32, on Sunday, January 29. He revealed the tragic news via Instagram. The official cause of death has not been revealed yet.

As Rickey declared the death of his son, he said, "I lost my oldest son #BrandonSmiley this morning. I’m okay, but please pray for my son’s mother Brenda, his siblings, and his daughter Storm." Meanwhile, the comedian posted a video of his son's funeral on Twitter and all his followers are now sending him notes of condolences and grief.

Brandon was an upcoming comedian. He was born to the radio host Rickey and Brenda Morris. Rickey and Brenda reportedly divorced after 12 years of marriage and have four children together.

After Brandon's untimely death on Sunday, January 29, Rickey posted a video, saying, “I have bad news this morning. I just want everyone to pray for me. My son, Brandon Smiley, has passed away this morning." He also requested his followers to pray for Brandon’s siblings and his mother Brenda, as per Hollywood life.

The internet quickly reacted to the video of his son's funeral. Famous podcaster, Georgette Pierre, wrote, "All the love in the world to you and your family rick." A user shared a poem for Rickey to relax and said, "I lean on this poem a lot during times of loss. I hope this finds you in good conscience and brings you comfort."
