The 92nd Academy Awards are bringing in all the razzmatazz on stage and as the big names in the celebrity world come together, all eyes are on the winners.

'Joker' won the Academy Award for Best Original Score and Hildur Guðnadóttir came on stage to accept the award. The category was presented by the trio, Gal Gadot, Brie Larson and Sigourney Weaver. During the acceptance speech, Guðnadóttir said, "To the girls, to the women, to the mothers, to the daughters, who hear the music bubbling within, please speak up."

Fans were delighted to see her win and wrote on Twitter, "Wasn't a fan of Joker but I think it's well deserving of its best original score Oscar." Another one said, "But seriously, congrats to Hildur Guðnadóttir, Oscar winner for Best Original Score for Joker."

"Cool choice for Best Original Score at the #Oscars going to Joker. It’s the one nomination I was very happy with and my top pick for the winner. Marriage Story was the second pick and then probably 1917," one viewer posted.

The other nominees in the category were:
'Little Women' — Alexandre Desplat
'Marriage Story' — Randy Newman
'1917' — Thomas Newman
'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' — John Williams

Last year, Ludwig Göransson’s score for 'Black Panther' took home the prize for Best Original Score. Not only was it Göransson’s first nomination but also the first time that a film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe earned a nomination in this category.

At 6.30 pm, the red carpet special began and it was hosted by Billy Porter, Tamron Hall, Lily Aldridge, and film critic Elvis Mitchell. Moreover, the red carpet started at 7.30 pm, which was hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Like last year, Oscars decided to go hostless this time around as well. The ceremony is being held at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday, February 9, 2020, and you can catch all the live updates on ABC.
