Brad Pitt has had the audiences in splits throughout the 2020 award season. Delivering some of the most hilarious acceptance speeches after securing wins at the Golden Globe, SAG Awards and British Academy Film Awards for his role in the movie 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood', we expected the actor to one-up himself at Oscars 2020.

It is now rumored that the winner of the Best Supporting Actor might have hired a ghostwriter to help craft his hysterical one-liners for the award season.

According to reports in Vulture, the Hollywood star's speeches might be worked upon by professionals. As it turns out, a speechwriting agency confirmed that the actor's representatives reached out to them about "engaging their services" ahead of the award season. Making revelations on the condition of anonymity, the agency did not disclose if they reached a deal with Pitt.

Pitt sparked speculations of enlisting the help of a dedicated agency after he delivering a witty speech at Golden Globes on January 5. The address was appreciated in particular for its jab at co-star and 'Titanic' actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

"I would have shared the raft with you," the actor had quipped. He also joked about the media's obsession with his dating life. "I wanted to bring my mom, but any woman I stand next to they say I'm dating. It'd just be awkward."

The actor wasn't present for his BAFTA speech — he got Margot Robbie to read on his behalf — but still had the audience in splits as he had quips to share about Brexit, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step down from the Royal Family.
