During the fire breakout, neither Aviv nor his family were at home. The cause of the fire at one of New York's most expensive neighborhoods is not yet found and is under investigation. As per the Daily Mail report, the 2.7-acre property listed for $6.5 million was bought by Aviv in June.
Aviv's nine-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion in Long Island's Southampton featured two car garage with a guest house was located at 144 Edge of Woods Road. According to the Daily Mail, the property was described by realtors on Zillow as an "ideal getaway" having "ample first and second floor terraces, overgrown by wisteria and overlooking the fabulous landscaped grounds and spectacular pool." The million-dollar home was built in the 1920s.
Officials stated that on the arrival of the firefighters at the scene, they discovered the house fully taken over by a fiery inferno. For assistance, five departments including the North Sea, Hampton Bays, East Quogue, Sag Harbor, and Bridgehampton were called in at the scene.
