‘One World: Together At Home’: Who is Burna Boy, the Nigerian singer whose performance took the concert by storm

If there’s one thing that ‘One World: Together At Home’ concert got absolutely right it is diversity and representation. Lady Gaga who curated the concert managed to rope in artists from across the globe. One particular artist piqued several fans’ interest with his soulful voice and broody lyrics leaving them wanting more of his music. This artist was none other than the popular Nigerian hip-hop artist Burna Boy. The Nigerian rapper performed the title song of his latest album, ‘African Giant’.
 
But who exactly is this rapper who managed to capture everybody’s attention? Don’t’ worry we got you covered, Burna Boy aka Damini Ebunoluwa Oguluis a 28-year-old singer who already has four studio albums under his name. The young musician began gaining recognition IN 2013 after his hit single ‘Like to Party’ became an instant hit. The song, which was part of his first studio album ‘LIFE’. Since then there was no looking back for this talented musician.
 
He went on to be signed with Atlantic Records in the United States, and Warner Music Group managed him internationally. 2019 was an eventful year in the artist’s life, considering he not only won the Best International Act award during BET Awards, but also his latest album ‘African Giant’ was nominated for the Best World Music at 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
