Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and wife Kayla expecting third child as they make 'cute' announcement
GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA: Olympic gold medallist swimmer Ryan Lochte and his wife Kayla are currently on Cloud nine as soon they will be parents for the third time. The lovely couple are already parents to five-year-old Caiden and three-year-old Liv. They shared the big news jointly on their social media pages.
Lochte and Kayla wrote, “Lochte baby #3 on the way, in June again of course!” The post showed a sweet clip of the adorable family, which included the two children too. Tim Halperin's cover of Mariah Carey's 1995 song ‘Always Be My Baby’ completed the social media share. As per reports, the “in June again of course!” line in the Instagram caption was referring to the fact that Caiden and Liv were also born in June, as per Daily Mail.

Lochte and Kayla have been married since 2018. At the time, they already had a child. The two reportedly met each other on Instagram in 2016. The 38-year-old Olympic medalist told PEOPLE in 2018, “She was living in L.A. at the time and I was in Charlotte, North Carolina. I went to L.A. for training and was going out to a club. She was going out to the same club with her girlfriend. I was like, ‘Oh, maybe we’ll finally get to see each other.’”
“We reached out and grabbed each other’s hands and were like ‘This is you! Finally.’ And we didn’t want to let go. Our friends were dragging us apart and that was the end of that night,” he revealed.
They reportedly decided to be with each other for the rest of their lives on their first meeting as Lochte said, “We talked for eight to 10 hours about everything and honestly the next day we started dating. We just talked about what we want in life … our goals, family, everything. I think right after that I was just like, ‘She’s the one.’”
The star athlete added, “Our lives have been a roller coaster ride with everything we’ve had to deal with. No matter what has happened, she’s been there to pick me up. She’s the one that has motivated me to keep going and to keep striving for my dreams and my goals not just in sports but in life as well. I owe everything to her.” Kayla said, “Ryan is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He doesn’t have a bad bone in his body. He’s a very genuine, heartfelt guy and that’s hard to find.”
