Peyton recalled, “They ran the test again and she [the doctor] said, 'It's definitely positive. We're going to do an ultrasound,'" she said, adding "She looked right at the screen and said, 'You're definitely pregnant.'" Her situation soon got worse. She said, "My kidneys weren't performing up to what they should. My liver wasn't working properly." Doctors had to act fast to save her life and deliver the baby.
Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Travis Koesters, said, “They said she needs to be admitted and then she had the baby that night.”
Peyton added, “They’re like you’re having a baby in 15 minutes. I had severely high blood pressure which is very scary. If I wouldn’t have came in when I did I probably wouldn’t have made it through the weekend.”
An emergency C-section was performed and the baby boy, named Kash, was born 10 weeks early and weighed just four pounds, according to the outlet. It was later discovered that Peyton had a case of preeclampsia, which is a pregnancy complication that leads to high blood pressure. Peyton was admitted to the Methodist Women's Hospital for a week. The couple revealed they wanted kids one day and were happy the day came quickly.
Koesters said, “Now that I’ve actually held him, fed him and things like that it’s real. He’s actually mine.”
In a seperate incident, Victoya Venise, of Louisiana, was 37 weeks pregnant when she went into labor recently while on business trip in Georgia. Venise went to the bathroom because she thought she had a stomach ailment, only to her own surprise, she ended up giving birth to her own child while on the toilet. She had been told by doctors that her due date was May 1.
Since it was too early for her to deliver when she began feeling stomach pains on April 1, she figured she had contracted the same stomach bug that her four-year-old daughter had. Venise, who had intended to place the baby for adoption with another family, became so attached to him after the unusual delivery that she chose to keep him and name him Rocky after her grandfather.
