What is Olivia Wilde's net worth now?
The information was made public on the day that Sudeikis, 47, and Wilde, 39, were scheduled to present their case in Los Angeles. The hearing was abruptly removed from the schedule. According to Wilde's declaration, which she submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on March 24, she is currently worth $10,569,736. This includes $645,187 in bank accounts, $3,902,689 in stocks and bonds, $6,021,860 in real estate, and other property. The 'Booksmart' director claimed to earn $71,667 a month, as per Daily Mail. According to Celebrity Net Worth, her ex-fiance Jason's estimated net worth is $25 million.
Previously, Wilde alleged that 'Ted Lasso' actor Sudeikis was trying to "litigate her into debt" by prolonging their legal dispute. "While Jason can afford to spin his wheels with filing after filing, Olivia cannot," according to her lawyers. They further wrote, "Jason should not be permitted to litigate Olivia into debt, and then claim she should be deprived of her right to seek a needs-based fee contribution from him."
Wilde's major victory in custody war
TMZ reported that a judge has denied the 'Hall Pass' actor's plea to transfer the case from California to New York. Adele Alexis Harris, a New York judge, announced on March 24, stating, in part, "The Court finds that it is in the interest of substantial justice that the parties' child support petition be heard in California." It's a major but expensive step for Wilde.
Together since 2011, Wilde and Sudeikis have had two kids together: a son who was born in 2014 and a daughter who was born in 2016. They were engaged in 2013 and broke up in 2020. Jason and Olivia engaged in a legal battle as he attempted to have the California court dismiss the custody case.
In court papers filed ahead of a now-canceled hearing in Los Angeles, Wilde said that while Sudeikis has the financial means to submit countless motions and prolong the legal issue, she does not. Wilde further claimed that Sudeikis is allegedly operating "in bad faith" and being "underhanded" in regard to the welfare of their children, Otis and Daisy. The former couple even sparked speculations that they were headed for a recoupling in January when they were spotted together in Los Angeles, however, the court battle suggests otherwise.
