‘First Christmas without my mama’: Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi pens emotional tribute
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Olivia Newton-John's daughter Chloe Lattanzi penned a heartfelt tribute to her late mother after spending her first Christmas without her, since her tragic death. Lattanzi, 36, took to her Instagram to share a carousel of pictures of her celebrating Christmas with family members, alongside a moving caption revealing that she could feel the spirit of the late actress "everywhere" on that festive day.
The ‘Grease’ star died aged 73 in August this year after a three-decade-long battle with cancer. The 36-year-old singer admitted that it was difficult for her to celebrate the festival after her mother’s death. "Happy belated Christmas everyone," she wished her 143k followers, alongside images of her donning a smile while posing with her father Matt Lattanzi. "I am of no religion but enjoy this day so much. It is a day to give to all those you love and treasure. This is a day that you don't focus on you, you focus on the joy you can bring others," she wrote in the post shared on Tuesday, December 27.

At last, the American-Australian beauty added sadly, "It's my first Christmas without my mama in physical form. But her spirit was everywhere. All the love, all the joy, all of it ... my mama. Merry Christmas to everyone." She concluded, "Merry Christmas to everyone. I wish all creatures great and small health happiness joy peace and prosperity great spirit lies within you all I love you earth family."
Newton-John fought a long and brave battle with breast cancer. Over the course of her life, the legendary actress was diagnosed with cancer three times in 1992, 2013, and, for the last time, in 2017. After her death, Lattanzi became the face of Olivia's cancer charity, known as the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre.
In November, Lattanzi choked up as she was delivering a tribute to her late mother at The Hordern Pavilion in Sydney. "Excuse me.. I just wanted to say thank you so much for remembering her so beautifully and I ask that you continue to remember my mum and honor her by supporting the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre so that my mum's dream can come true. A world without cancer," she said with a hand pressed to her heart while thanking the organizers for hosting the ceremony, as per the DailyMail.
