'Grief is just love with no place to go': Chloe Lattanzi's heartbreaking post about mom Olivia Newton-John
Olivia Newton-John's daughter Chloe Lattanzi moved her followers with her recent post about the natural relationship between grief and love just two weeks after her mother's death. In memory of her mother, the 36-year-old actress shared a heartbreaking quote from Jamie Anderson that sparked an outpouring of support from her followers.
“Grief, I’ve learned, is just love,” the quote shared by Lattanzi begins. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go,” the post read. Chloe shared the emotional words on her Instagram on Monday and captioned it with just a red heart emoji.

Olivia Newton-John died peacefully at her home in Southern California on August 8 after a year-long battle with breast cancer. The entertainment legend was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 but chose to keep the disease a secret. In May 2017, she announced that her breast cancer had returned and metastasized to her sacrum, and in 2018, it was revealed that she was once again battling the disease.
Chloe was the only child of Olivia, whom she shared with her ex-husband Matt Lattanzi. Chloe and her mother were incredibly close. From Chloe's battle with drug addiction to Olivia's battle with breast cancer, the mother-daughter duo went through thick and thin and stayed strong. Chloe first addressed the heartbreaking news of her mother's death by sharing a post by Canadian singer and actress Jann Arden.
“Dearest Chloe, my deepest, most sorrow-filled condolences to you at this heartbreaking time. You are loved. She was so proud of you,” Arden’s message read.
Since then she has continued to share video and photo memories of her mother and the special bond they shared.
