'NOS4A2' Season 2 Episode 9: Is Maggie going to be the next victim of Christmasland? Finale preview worries fans

Interestingly enough Maggie also had a close call in this episode, so some fans are convinced that's a hint that they will lose her in the finale

Spoilers for 'NOS4A2' Season 2 Episode 9 'Welcome to Christmasland'

This episode of 'NOS4A2' definitely made fans very excited for the Season 2 finale of AMC's hit series airing next week. The entirety of 'Welcome to Christmasland' was shot in Charlie Manx's (Zachary Quinto) creepy Inscape, and the episode reflected the entire's seasons premise of being fast-paced and scary. Maggie Leigh (Jahkara Smith) and Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) make it to Christmasland to save Wayne McQueen (Jason David) from Manx's crutches. Maggie, who reminds Vic that she was hunting Manx's Wraith way before Vic was, tells her that they have to blow up Christmasland because no more kids deserve to die and hang their ornaments on creepy Christmas trees. In the last episode, we lost Vic's father Chris McQueen (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and when some fans saw that coming, everyone was shocked to see that the finale might see the death of Maggie.

"MAGGIE is gonna be the next victim of Christmasland isn't she ?  #NOS4A2," wrote one fan. Another added, "Glad to see Millie made it out alive, but that preview teaser at the end though. Maggie better not die on the season 2 finale of #NOS4A2." Interestingly enough Maggie also had a close call in this episode, so some fans are convinced that's foreshadowing that we'll lose her in the finale.

The duo had planted multiple bombs inside Manx's Inscape while running away from the kids of Christmasland that have weapons and wanted to play games. As they get cornered by Manx, many of those time-bombs start going off, making Manx old and weak again. He was no longer able to fight them, leaving Maggie and Vic free to find Wayne. Although at the end of 'Welcome to Christmasland', Vic finds her son and tries to take him away as the lights in Christmasland go off, the preview for the finale at the end of the episode suggests that Maggie may not just lose her tiles, she might even lose her life. Since Vic's triumph can only hold two people, Maggie has to stay behind until Vic can come to get her. However, fans are so worried that she won't make it out alive as the kids are still hunting her. "So we all know now, Maggie isn't coming out Christmas Land next week  #NOS4A2," tweeted one sad fan. Another added, "Me: "That one there. That's my favorite character..." That character: *dies* That being said, I absolutely did not pick Maggie Leigh as my favorite character on #NOS4A2. Not even a little bit. Like...not at all, so...by proxy, she will live. #Shutupandletmehavemyfantasy," wrote one fan jokingly. 

'NOS4A2' Season 2 episodes air on Sundays at 10 pm ET on AMC.
