Normani has time and again teased her solo debut album but she is yet to stamp on the official release date of the same. The singer’s fans keep poking her with the queries and in the latest, one of the fans slammed the former member of The Fifth Harmony for lack of motivation to drop new music.

This did not go down well with the Atlanta native as she decided to revert to the fan’s now-deleted thread. The 26-year-old crooner gave it back to the hater where another fan had claimed the singer was no longer passionate about music. While social media users slammed Normani for her reply, British designer Hayden Williams came to her rescue. Normani, while dealing with the haters, had also shared a few new stunning images on Instagram.

Normani gives it back to haters

According to Billboard, a post shared by a fan which now stands deleted read, “No idea where Normani’s motivation (no pun intended) has gone but I just don’t see the same passion from her as I used to.” Another fan tweeted, “What happens when you’ve gotten comfortable and you’re not HUNGRY anymore.” Normani decided to deal with the situation on her own replying, “Just shut the f**k up.”

Coming to her rescue, Hayden Williams posted, “It’s so interesting that people that have no clue what it’s like to be in the music industry & the complexities that can come with that, but will dish out unwanted & rude opinions all the time smh.” To this Normani replied, “On top of real life s**t going on in my personal life.” Speaking of her music, Normani last released a single called ‘Fair’ in March 2022. However, she is yet to dish out details on her yet untitled debut album.

In an interview with Bustle in June 2022, Normani addressed to the delay of her album saying, “I understand that [waiting] might not be the easiest in regards to supporting me, but I think that people really don’t understand, especially coming out of a girl group, what most may have thought was the perfect time for me to release-during ‘Motivation’-was not it at all because I would’ve put out a body of the work that I wasn’t confident in.”

‘We just want some new music from you’

Social media users logged into Twitter to speak on Normani’s angry revert to a fan. “Normani acting like she ain’t know her s**t was gon flop when chart data updates” quipped one as another chimed in, “The prettiest flop to ever do it.” One user stated, “We just want some new music from you, we’re not asking for much here.” Whereas, another mentioned, “You know that the album gonna flop that’s why you keep telling s**t like that.”

The next one tweeted, “That s why your album and anything you put out is going to be a big flop.” Meanwhile, an individual asserted, “Obviously we want more music from her and there’s nothing wrong with asking her nicely but people are just being rude. Saying she’s unmotivated and calling her a flop and other miserable things is very uncalled for.” Another stated, “Then she needs to stop going on every interview and saying "it's coming" when it's clearly not. It's not our fault as fans that she keeps promising new music.” And, one concluded, “You’re the one lying to your fan base every year on your album’s release.”
