Nickelodeon's Drake Bell reported 'missing and endangered' after completion of 2-year probation for child endangerment
DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA: Drake Bell has been reported "missing and endangered" and police are deeply fearful for his well-being. Daytona Beach police declared the 36-year-old actor MIA in a Facebook post, that read, "** MISSING ** Officers are looking for Jared Bell, DOB 06/27/1986." They also confirmed that Bell was last seen driving his 2022 grey BMW near Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida at around 9.pm on Wednesday.
Fans are, however, suspicious of the news and are calling it a hoax. Responding to the same, the police stated, "For those asking, this is a legitimate post from the Daytona Beach Police Department. If you have any information, please contact Detective Jayson Wallace." This comes two years after the disgraced Nickelodeon star was captured taking "hippy crack." He had also recently completed his two-year probation over an attempted child endangerment case in which he pleaded guilty, according to Daily Mail.

Drake Bell pleaded guilty to child endangerment charges
Bell, born Jared 'Drake' Bell, was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community in July 2021 for endangering a girl's welfare when she was just 15. Toronto Authorities confirmed that the underage girl attended one of Bell's concerts in Cleveland in 2017. She later contacted Toronto police in October 2018 claiming that she was sexually assaulted. Further findings prompted an investigation by Cleveland police which discovered that the actor was in an online relationship with the teenager. He was also caught sending "'inappropriate social media messages" to the girl. Bell was then charged with attempted endangerment of a child for "violating his duty of care" and creating a risk of harm for the victim.
Drake Bell and his wife Janet are 'separated'
Sometime in January, Bell and his wife Janet Von Schmeling reportedly "separated" and were "headed to divorce." Apparently the 28-year-old actress "had enough" as she moved back to Florida with their son. "Janet is devoted to raising their son," the source told People. "Drake and Janet are committed to maintaining a peaceful co-parenting relationship and giving their son the best life possible." The source also claimed that Bell was getting treatments for substance abuse. "Drake needed to take time to get help and focus on his health," the insider revealed. Bell, who reportedly entered treatment at that time, was seen inflating and deflating a pink balloon in the front seat of his parked car for more than thirty minutes outside his Los Angeles home with his son in the car in January.
