He finished second once again. He made another appearance on the third season of 'Bachelor in Paradise'. In Week 6, he separated from Jennifer Saviano. Nick Viall claims fans never liked any 'Bachelor' lead since him

Back in September 2016, rumors emerged that former 'Bachelor' contestant Zach Shallcross might be the next Bachelor. It's not because he's loathed for any particular reason, but fans generally found him boring. Even devoted fans of the show had stated that they would not watch it if he is the lead. It appeared to be a harsh reaction, but fans of the series are nothing if not fervent.

Nick has just chosen to share his thoughts on Zach's season, which is now running on ABC. "No one's liked their bachelor, literally, since me. And I was polarizing," Nick stated on 'The Viall Files' podcast on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

"People liked Matt James, right?" he was asked. Nick quickly said, "Not as the bachelor, no ... The people who were fans of Tyler (Cameron) and there was a lot of those fans who followed the crew and Matt James had a couple 100k followers at the time, because of his buddy Tyler. Those people got excited and obviously being the black bachelor that was a monumental and wonderful like step in the right direction for the franchise after years of not doing that but all that aside when the season started airing, No."

Fans call out Nick Viall

Fans certainly didn't enjoy Nick's bold claims as one of them wrote, "I mean I usually dislike the producers’ picks for bachelor (not hating them all as people, just the producers’ choice), but Nick is the worst of them lol."

Calling him out for his huge ego, another person wrote, "Wow! Big ego much?? I liked how the journalist was saying “people liked Matt James”, but then Nick was able to convince her to take his point of view…so bizarre how none of them said to Nick that this is kind of a gross way to think he’s the almighty Bachelor. Who even brags on themselves like that?"

Another person added, "Blah he is always so full of himself lol." One fan adviced, "Stay delusional nick."

One torn fan wrote, "I kind of appreciate how blindingly confident his massive ego makes him, but it doesn’t make him right. At all." Another added, "Who is going to tell him that nobody liked him either? Lmaooo."

Throwing shade at his stint on the shows, one fan wrote, "The ego though. You’d think being rejected on national tv multiple times in a row would have humbled him."

Another harsh criticism read, "How TF you out there giving relationship advice on a podcast when you’ve had like 3 publicly failed relationships and are engaged to a girl 18 years younger 🙄🙄no one your age likes you bc mid 30s women are smart enough to not won’t put up with your unfounded bullshit ego."
