'Bachelor in Paradise' 2022: Bad or dumb? Fans come to Logan's defense as Rachel and Gabby warn Kate about him

The ladies were told by Rachel and Gabby how Logan 'flip-flopped' on their season of 'The Bachelorette' and treated them both with 'disrespect'

VALLARTA, MEXICO: Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey's arrival on the beach prompted mixed emotions from the cast and Bachelor Nation. Although several members were delighted to meet the girls, Johnny Dephillipo, Tyler Norris, and notably Logan Palmer were not too excited to see their exes.

The former Bachelorettes approached the girls and asked them about their current relationships. Rachel informed Brittney that her ex Tyler was a wonderful guy who deserved to be happy. Shanae Ankey and Kate Gallivan told the girls about their connections with Logan, which caused Rachel and Gabby to hesitate. It did not sit well with fans after watching the Bachelorette royalties jeopardize Logan's current relationship with Kate by dishing out his past.

Rachel and Gabby told the girls about Logan's "flip-flop" on their season and how he was "disrespectful" to them both. The former Bachelorettes approached Kate and warned her about Logan's actions during their season. Logan told the guys on the beach that he was anxious about the talk with his ex-girlfriends.

Rachel told Kate that she doesn't "respect" Logan and doesn't believe he's changed since their season together. Despite her apparent overwhelm, Kate thanked both girls for their guidance and referred to them as "her cheerleaders." Kate strolled back to the beach with Gabby and Rachel, arm in arm, after a soothing talk.

Gabby and Rachel said their goodbyes to the beach but not before telling Logan she "has beef" with him and to "treat her girl well." The conversation left Logan surprised and Kate torn. Logan disclosed to Tyler that he was "freaking out" during a late-night beach talk. He admitted to Tyler that he "keeps hurting people's feelings."

Fans couldn't help but feel bad for Logan as one wrote, "Never thought I’d feel bad for this man but Logan’s just out here living in fight or flight mode every episode poor dude."

Another fan felt he wasn't necessarily a bad guy but a 'dumb' one, "I don’t like Logan don’t get me wrong but I don’t think he a bad guy or deserves this. I think he’s Just A Dumb Guy." Another fan defending Logan's time on 'The Bachelorette' wrote, "These women barely know Logan. I saw the bachelorette.... he was just trying to get to know the women and then decided? They were all STRANGERS? weird s**t."

An eliminated contestant from this season also live-tweeted during the broadcast, "I don’t agree with Gabby/Rachel being brought down to talk about Logan. Every relationship is different and just because someone wasn’t their best self in one relationship does not mean they can’t be their best self in another."

One fan chose to bring back the most controversial topic concerning Logan during his time on 'The Bachelorette', "Someone please tell me what happened to Logan on the bachelorette. I feel like there is something else we are missing. We all know he didn’t actually leave bachelorette cuz of covid."

Another fan asked, "Did Logan secretly pissed off the producers so they sent Rachel and Gabby just to talk to Kate? Or did the producers tried to do Logan a favor?"

Summing up Gabby and Rachel's time on Paradise, a fan quipped, "Gabby & Rachel we’re like “omg surprise hiiiiii!!! Logan sucks. Byeee everyone!!!!”" Slamming Rachel for continuing to diss Logan for his time on 'The Bachelorette', a fan tweeted, "How would you know? You haven't even talked to beach Logan... No one wants your opinion."

'Bachelor in Paradise' airs on ABC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm.
