Nick Cannon throws a punch at Eminem in new diss track 'The Invitation' but misses by a long margin

The general consensus seems to be that Cannon's wasting his time. And the real Slim Shady has wasted no time either in standing up and speaking out on Twitter.
UPDATED DEC 10, 2019

Guess who's back, back again with a brand-new diss track. Nick Cannon and Eminem's long-standing feud has been documented for well over a decade now. They've also both loved and lost Mariah Carey - well, at least, if you believe Eminem's version of the story.  And even though he's been divorced from the pop diva since 2016, Cannon's still firing both barrels at Eminem in an attempt to get his own back and salvage some pride in what looks like an increasingly one-sided war.

Let's face it, Nick Cannon's no rap god. Still, that's not going to stop him trying to rip Eminem a new one whilst licking old wounds.

Clearly needing reinforcements, the host of America's Got Talent has enlisted the help of Prince Eazy, Charlie Clips, Hitman Holla and Suge Knight (of Straight Outta Compton and Into Jail fame) for this latest laughable salvo on Eminem titled 'The Invitation.'

Have a listen to the diss track here:

Choice lyrics include:

Call Kim, somebody get Hailie
And that other kid you raisin', that ain't even your baby

It appears that since Eminem took potshots at his ex-wife, Nick now thinks Em's family is appropriate "cannon-fodder," if you'll pardon the pun. He even alleges that Eminem had indulged in some shady behavior years ago and that there's a video to prove it:

I heard your chauffeur got a video of you suckin' a cock
You paid him off, then laid him off, now who really the opp?

Right, so let's get this straight -  casting homophobic slurs and making fun of a man's adopted children doesn't really make for a great diss track - it's more of a piss track by the sound of things. And judging by the disproportionate amount of "diss-likes" on the video, fans are not too impressed either. And by not too impressed, I mean hysterically entertained.

The general consensus seems to be that Cannon's wasting his time. And the real Slim Shady has wasted no time either in standing up and speaking out on Twitter.

Eminem then followed that zinger up with a classic one-two punch:

Classic Eminem. Our advice to Nick Cannon would probably be to grudgingly bury the hatchet and move on with his life. But definitely don't quit the day job just yet, Nick.
