NEW MUSIC: The North Country drops video and announces release date for new album 'The Future's All We Need'
Washington, D.C. (Release): Experimental pop band The North Country have announced their new album 'The Future's Is All We Need' will be out on April 26 through Misra. The band also dropped the new single and video 'Be Here Be Now'. The track is available on all streaming platforms.
The song's music video was made largely in-house, conceived by lead singer Andrew Grossman and edited by guitarist Jon Harmon. The pair also co-directed and co-produced the song's video. On the song, the band's Grossman says: “This song is a reminder to be present. 'Be Here Be Now' is a song about trying to stay in the moment in spite of all distractions. Screens throwing bright bold flashing colors at you, images of half naked people photoshopped to oblivion, and all of it is for the benefit of some faceless corporation."
The North County will be performing on March 29 in Washington, D.C. at Culture House DC. The Multi-Sensory Meltdown with The North Country & ViRG will also include a VR music video presented by Ian McDermott.
