Jon Snodgrass records 'Magnolia Sessions'; releases single ‘Saturday Nite Movie Nite’
Jon Snodgrass & Friends (Bill and Miles Stevenson) have recorded a live session for the 'Magnolia Sessions'; ‘Saturday Nite Movie Nite’ off the new album ‘Barge at Will’ is out no.
'Barge At Will' was recorded, mixed, and mastered at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, CO. Additionally, Bill Stevenson played drums and bass on the entire album. In addition, a few of Snodgrass’s buddies including Chris Wollard (Hot Water Music), Chris Cresswell (The Flatliners, Hot Water Music), Peter “JR” Wasilewski (Less Than Jake), and Scott Reynolds (ALL) made contributions to a few songs. Jon Snodgrass is a founding member of Armchair Martian, Drag The River, and supergroup Scorpios.
Norwegian band Slitasje releases single 'Ett Liv' off upcoming EP 'Mandag Moron'
Slitasje has released a new single 'Ett Liv' and announced a new EP 'Mandag Morgon' to be released on June 28 via Dirt Cult Records.
The Trondheim-based Swedish/Norwegian band was formed during the pandemic lockdowns of 2020. Swedish singer Sushila was working in Trondheim at the time and had been talking for a couple of years with friend and bass guitarist Karl-Martin about starting to make music together. The lockdowns provided the time to start working on ideas, and when restrictions loosened up, some new songs started to see the light. They got friends and fellow punk rockers Eskild (guitar), Thor-Inge (guitar), and Andreas 'Puppy' to join the lineup in the band Slitasje (which means “wear and tear” in Norwegian).
Carly Cosgrove drops new 'Fluff My Pillow' from upcoming ‘The Cleanest of Houses Are Empty’
Carly Cosgrove, have released a new single, 'Fluff My Pillow', taken from their upcoming new album ‘The Cleanest of Houses Are Empty’ out June 14 via Wax Bodega.
“'Fluff My Pillow' puts a spin on lethargy by portraying it in an enticing way,” says singer/guitarist Lucas Naylor. "The narrator justifies their inaction, treating their isolation and sleep as if it’s a drug or a temptation”
The band previously released the first single and music video for 'You Old Dog' out now and recently announced an acoustic performance and record signing event taking place at Repo Records in Philly on June 21.
‘The Cleanest of Houses Are Empty’ is the follow up to the band’s 2021 debut ‘See You In Chemistry’, which found the band tracing personal growth through anxiety, depression, indecision, and, ultimately, self-actualization.
DJ duo Ofenbach is back with new single 'Feelings Don't Lie'

Since the beginning of their career, Ofenbach have delivered a string of hits and become one of France's biggest music exports. In early 2024, César and Dorian spent three full months in Los Angeles working with artists and found their new sound.

'Feelings Don’t Lie' features Salem Ilese, the American singer-songwriter best known for her viral singles 'Mad at Disney' and 'PS5'. She has also co-written songs for artists such as Bella Poarch and Demi Lovato.
Italian rockers Feldspar release single 'Cobblestones' off upcoming album
Italian rock band Feldspar has released 'Cobblestones', the first single and video off the band's upcoming debut LP out this fall on TTK Records.
The track heralds the start of a collaboration with Nick Terry, the London-based producer renowned for his work on iconic albums by The Libertines, Simian Mobile Disco, Peaches, Ian Brown (Stone Roses), Turbonegro, Kvelertak, and more. Nick has helmed the production of Feldspar's entire debut album.
Musically, 'Cobblestones' is a continuous energetic ride, only interrupted by hyper-modern Nordic-style breakdowns. Lyrically, the song depicts Rome and its dual nature. On one side, the postcard and the continuous pilgrimage from all over the world, and on the other, the authentic, antagonistic, popular city that looks at everything that happens around it with skepticism and disenchantment.
The 'Cobblestones' video is a project within the project, directed by well-known Italian director, Roberto 'Saku' Cinardi, who boasts collaborations with the cream of the Italian scene (Lacuna Coil, etc.) and has directed films and TV series for major platforms.
Indie-pop star Natalie Shay releases EP 'Champagne'.
UK indie-pop artist Natalie Shay has released her EP 'Champagne'. Shay describes 'Champagne' as her favourite collection of songs yet. The songwriter confides, “Every song was written during things I’ve learned and experienced with friendships and relationships over the last two years since my last EP, 'Milk'.”
'Champagne' is the third EP from Natalie and encompasses who the artist is today, as she gives us a personal and intimate look into her life, offering her most honest and authentic work to date. The EP includes songs such as 'The Edge' which painfully recalls the demise of a friendship, and the ultimate breakup anthem 'Like You Boy', as well as 'All The Time' which details the inner-monologue of a fan girl. The new addition of 'Love Me Too' represents a self-contained lyrical rambling of all of the themes and messages throughout the EP, all collated into one song.
