PUBLISHED SEP 30, 2019

'Tune in for Love' is actor Jung Hae-in's upcoming film after his successful shows 'Something in the Rain' and 'One Spring Night'. The movie was filmed from September to December 2018. The film, which is being released in South Korea by CGV Art House, can also be streamed on Netflix.

Release date:

'Tune in for Love' released in South Korea August 28, however, the film is set to be released on Netflix November 5.

Plot:

The film revolves around the lives Mi-soo and Hyun-woo who meet at an opportune moment in the 1990s after Mi-soo shares her stories with Hyun-woo on his radio show. The two fall in love, however, things do not work out for them and fast forward 10 years, Hyun-woo meets Mi-soo again.

Will they be able to work out their differences this time or will they fail again due to circumstances? The film while reflecting on the importance of timing also speaks about the IMF crisis (Asian financial crisis) that gripped East and South-East Asian countries at the beginning of 1997.

Cast:

Kim Go-eun as Mi-soo

Actor Kim Go-eun, who has previously worked with director Jung Ji-woo in the 2012 movie 'A Muse' will play the lead role of Mi-soo in this film. She is well known for her roles in 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God' and 'Cheese in the Trap'.

Director:

Jung Ji-woo, well-known for movies such as ' Happy End' starring Joo Jin-mo, Choi Min-sik and Jeon Do-yeon; and 'A Muse' starring Park Hae-il, Kim Go-eun and Kim Mu-yeol helmed the film.

Trailer:

The trailer of the film features two individuals who fall in love after a chance meeting and continue to grow closer over days only to break apart. Why the two break up is not clear, but what is, is the regret on both sides.

Mi-soo still thinks about her first love Hyun-woo. A decade later, the two cross paths again and the spark is still alive. The first time Hyun-woo is invited to Mi-soo's home, she ends up quickly cleaning her room as if Hyun-woo is someone that she just met.

Even after 10 years, this love story feels brand new from Mi-soo's antics. However, all of this doesn't seem to last too long because we see Hyun-woo ask a teary-eyed Mi-soo if she can trust him.
