Netflix is all set to ring in the New Year with a lot of fanfare. Come January 2020, the streaming platform will bring a whole new bunch of shows and series, while some of the existing shows will return after a break.

Unfortunately, however, some of the popular running shows, like ‘Bojack Horseman’ and ‘The Ranch’, will be leaving the network by end of January. And before the new decade starts, Netflix will bid adieu to the evergreen ‘Friends’.

Netflix has announced more than 25 new shows that would premiere in 2020, of which, there could be new projects from the houses of Shonda Rhimes (of 'Grey’s Anatomy', 'Scandal', 'How To Get Away With Murder’ fame) and Ryan Murphy ('Glee').

Of the many shows dropping in the streaming network this January, ‘Messiah’ is one show to look forward to. The story follows the journey of a man in the Middle East claiming to be an incarnation of Jesus which leads to fanatical following and political intervention.
