Folk-rock musician Neil Young and rock band Crazy Horse announced a brand new live album titled 'Return to Greendale'. Recorded in 2003 while touring to promote the album 'Greendale', the 25th studio album by Neil Young, 'Return to Greendale' has been recorded at the Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Young revealed that the album would be released on compact disc, vinyl LP and the concert film edition on Blu-ray and DVD with the documentary 'Inside Greendale'. Release date

'Return to Greendale' is set to release worldwide on Friday, November 6, 2020, via Warner Records. The album was initially announced for release on June 19, 2020, but was being delayed due to the ongoing pandemic.

'Return to Greendale' has Ralph Molina on drums and vocals, Billy Talbot on bass and vocals, Frank "Poncho" Sampedro on guitar, keyboards, mandolin and vocals and Neil Young on guitar, organ, harmonica and vocals. Young has also done the art direction and design of the record. The record has been produced by Neil Young & LA Johnson.

Young, one of the most prolific rock artistes of all time, has received several Grammy Awards, and has been inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice; first in 1995 as a solo artist, and later in 1997 as a member of Buffalo Springfield. In 2000, Rolling Stone named him the 34th greatest rock 'n roll artiste. He's known for his guitar work, deeply personal lyrics and signature tenor singing voice. Young's style of distorted electric guitar playing earned him the nickname, Godfather of Grunge, and led to his 1995 album 'Mirror Ball' with Pearl Jam. His 21 albums and singles have been certified Gold and Platinum in the US by RIAA.
