Remember last week when you were thrilled that 'NCIS' Season 18 was returning from its winter break with two back to back banger episodes? Look like we might have celebrated too soon. While the show maintains its arc and slot on CBS, expect another two long, dreary weeks of hiatus before you can finally witness all the glorious action and hell break loose in the upcoming Episode 7. Read on to find out when you can finally catch what comes next on 'NCIS'.

According to TV listings, 'NCIS' wnt be airing any new episodes this coming Tuesday, February 2. Instead, during its designated 8 pm time slot, CBS will air the season premiere from the ongoing Season 18, titled 'Sturgeon Surgeon'. The upcoming episode 7 will air all the way on Tuesday, February 9 at 8 pm only on CBS. Titled 'The First ay', the episode sees "NCIS investigate the murder of a Navy officer who was killed while driving home a recently released inmate. Also, Gibbs helps Palmer deal with a personal trauma."

To brush up your memory for the season premiere awaiting next week, it's the episode where Tobias Fornell makes his big comeback into the world of Jethro Gibbs and his team as the duo "attempt to track down the leader of a drug ring who supplied drugs to Fornell's daughter. Also, the team deals with the case of a missing cadaver from the NCIS autopsy room."

Episode 6 of Season 18 titled '1mm' picks up the action when "Following a tip about smuggled weapons, Bishop and Torres engage in a shootout in a former sheriff's residence that's now a historical site, only to find themselves locked in abandoned jail cells there." Since Season 17's alt-reality time period where Bishop and Torres flirted, but not as their own selves, speculation was rife about their budding relationship.

The Season 17 finale solidified those speculations by showing Bishop being tormented following Torres getting shot on duty. Season 18 hasn't quite presented them in a bowl as an item yet, but this episode has all the right kind of thriller vibe going to make up for a juicy romance plotline. Especially after the previous episode's teasing thrill as Bishop almost lost her life. Fornell was really speaking for the rest of the fandom when he told Torres 'Go get your girl' at the end of the episode. One can only imagine what giant developments are in store for viewers.

'NCIS' Season 18 airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm only on CBS.
