Natalia Dyer bundles up as she steps out in NYC ahead of filming for last season of 'Stranger Things'
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Natalia Dyer's style is admired by many. Her simple but chic looks have often made headlines, and her latest look for a low-key stroll through Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood has everyone wanting to copy it. The 28-year-old 'Stranger Things' actress wore a long black coat to keep the chill away on a cold day, and combined it with a blue scarf while talking to someone on the phone.
She also wore navy blue pants, which she paired with a pair of white sneakers and matching socks. She wore sunglasses and a green baseball cap to remain incognito, and had a black backpack slung over her shoulder. Dyer appeared in good spirits as she took in the sights around her - ahead of filming her final role as Nancy Wheeler, her character from 'Stranger Things.' What Natalia Dyer wants to see on 'Stranger Things' Season 5
Dyer had opened up about her expectations for the show in an interview with Collider, where she said that she hoped to do more scenes with Maya Hawke. The actress plays Robin Buckley on the show and fans have been very interested in the pair’s dynamic. “I think Nancy and Robin, it's a really fun dynamic, and they're so different, but they're both very smart women, we love that. We love to see it, we love to play it. We were both really excited about getting to do that this season. And I think it's been, I don't know, from what I've seen but like people seem to enjoy it as well, which is nice because I think it's a nice gratifying relationship dynamic.”
Natalia Dyer on romancing co-star Charlie Heaton
Dyer’s stint on ‘Stranger Things’ as Nancy Wheeler, the friendly-nerd-turned-gun-wielding-badass has been loved by the show’s fanbase. But as it turns out, getting the part was a nerve-wracking process for the actress as she recalls thinking she “bombed” both her auditions. “I auditioned twice for the role. I thought I bombed the initial audition, but then I got the callback, and I thought I bombed that as well,” she had said in an interview with Cosmopolitan.
The ‘Velvet Buzzsaw’ actress also met her real-life partner Charlie Heaton on the show, and the pair have been famously private about their relationship for the longest time. Dyer also opened up about the fans' curiosity about their relationship, admitting that she does not understand it. ”I’m always curious as to why it comes up. Why do people want to know about it? I think it’s a natural instinct to want to know more about the people who are on your screens for hours, about what they’re like in real life. [But] now that I’ve experienced the other side of it… It sounds so cliché, but I’m just a person, too. Some people are very good about being open and sharing, and other people feel a little more comfortable holding some things for themselves.”
