The MTV Video Music Awards is all set to begin with a starry line-up of artists on Sunday night, August 30, during a ceremony held in New York City and hosted by actress, singer and talk show personality Keke Palmer. The show was originally set to air live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the first time since 2013, but it was scrapped after coronavirus concerns. Now, many outdoor performances will be held around New York but due to social distancing regulations regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the show will take place in front of “limited or no audience.”

The nominations list was announced long back and while Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga lead the nominations with nine nods each, it will be interesting to see who wins the trophy in each category.
