MTV VMAs 2020: Bella Hadid's boobs are talk of town as she sparks run-in rumors with The Weeknd in sheer dress

Bella Hadid raised the heat with her appearance at the MTV VMAs 2020 and people just couldn't get her off their minds. Aired live this Sunday, August 30, exclusively on MTV, the star-studded event was hosted by talk show personality Keke Palmer and brought a number of musicians and artists under one roof. The 90-minute pre-show, meanwhile, was hosted by Nessa Diab and Jamila Mustafa. 

Bella attended in an all-black sheer top and pants with a halter strap and see-through cups, seemingly trying to channel a 90s fashion statement. Leaving little to the imagination, her sheer dress — that exposed her breasts — was the talk of the town and a few mean fans couldn't help but mock her. "#bellahadid Is squashed boob the latest look?" one said and another posted, "@bellahadid Are those boobs or old pancakes? #VMAs2020 #NiceOutfit." Another Twitter user compared it to "fried eggs" and posted: "My mom said why are bella hadid’s boobs looking like huevo fritos."

It was quite a surprise for many viewers as she crossed paths with her ex-boyfriend The Weeknd after their recent split. According to a Daily Mail report, a source said, "They played it cool and crossed paths with each other, same place, same time" and added that they are "on good terms" with each other despite their on-and-off-again relationship. The report also said that the two allegedly met at the rehearsals too as the supermodel was spotted at the NYC shoot location the same day that the Grammy-award winning artiste whose real name is Abel Tesfaye wrapped up practice for his upcoming performance.

After looking at the two, fans just couldn't keep calm. While many wanted to see them back together, others were hoping she wouldn't go back to him. "I just need to know are Bella Hadid and The Weeknd going home together tonight? Someone plz say yes," one fan said while another posted, "The Weeknd and Bella Hadid are in the vmas. Beach better not get near him." One fan went on to post: 'I’ve decided @theweeknd doesn’t need @bellahadid, he needs me."

Recently, Bella spoke to Elle about how she missed her apartment in New York as she spent the lockdown with her family in Pennsylvania. "I miss smiling at people," she said. "I miss hugging, a lot. I miss walking around and listening to music. It’s different when you’re in the city. You can walk forever—going nowhere and somehow still feeling like you’ve got somewhere to be." Most of all, she added that she missed working. "After a few years of being a workaholic—not being home for more than five days—I found spending three months at home [intense]," she said.

Due to social distancing regulations amid the Covid-19 pandemic, MTV revealed the show will take place in front of "limited or no audience" and the performances will be at undisclosed locations across New York City. The awards night began at 8 pm ET/PT and the VMAs Pre-Show started at 6.30 pm ET/PT.
