Rapper Moneybagg Yo's successful track 'Said Sum', the lead single from his collaborative mixtape 'Code Red' with Blac Youngsta, has been climbing the charts ever since its release. The rapper's single got further success after he released a remix version featuring City Girls and DaBaby on September 17. According to the official Twitter Chart Data handle, the remix version of 'Said Sum' gained ten points on the Billboard Hot 100 reaching #23 and spending sixteen weeks in total on the chart. The handle tweeted, "Billboard Hot 100: #23(+10) Said Sum, @MoneyBaggYo [16 weeks]. New peak."

Moneybagg himself tweeted about the achievement and the inclusion of the track on Spotify's Viral Hits playlist writing, "Shout out @Spotify for adding #SaidSum Remix to #ViralHits." But, fans were quick to call out the rapper for not mentioning or thanking hip hop duo City Girls. One fan of the female rap group angrily tweeted, "This s**t pissing me off because the only reason why it’s climbing is because of City Girls, but, ONCE AGAIN, they’re not getting their credit," while another said, "Credit City Girls or else." Another tweeted to Moneybagg saying, "Now get it on Billboard so the girls can get credit too," while another tweeted asking, "Where’s city girls credit? lol" A different user said, "@MoneyBaggYo you better credit City Girls."
