Apple TV dropped the latest trailer for 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' Season 2. The new clip introduces the world to 'Titan X' — a brand new Titan that adds to Legendary’s Monsterverse and pairs it alongside Kong and Godzilla.

For those unaware, the Monsterverse started with 'Godzilla' in 2014, followed by 'Kong: Skull Island' in 2017, 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' (2019), and 'Godzilla vs. Kong' (2021). Adding to the list is 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire', the iconic franchise's major-grossing installment and the highest-grossing Godzilla film of all time. The sequel 'Godzilla x Kong: Supernova' is slated to release in 2027.

'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' takes place in the 1950s and later forwards to the present, where Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt and Wyatt Russell). The new season sees the two reprise their roles alongside Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett, and Anders Holm. The new season comprises 10 episodes and will release February 27, with the finale slated for May 1, 2026.

The official logline on 'Titan X' reads, "In addition to Kong, Season 2 will feature Godzilla and introduce a new Titan: the enigmatic Titan X, now officially on the loose. Titan X isn’t just another monster; it’s a living cataclysm. When its massive bioluminescent form breaks the surface of the ocean, the world seems to hold its breath. In Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2, Titan X stands at the center of the mystery — an ancient force emerging from the deep, its purpose uncertain, its power unmatched, its awe and terror in equal measure. Additional Season 2 guest stars include Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Curtiss Cook, Cliff Curtis, Dominique Tipper, and Camilo Jiménez Varón."

The synopsis reads, "Season 2 will pick up with the fate of Monarch — and the world — hanging in the balance. The dramatic saga reveals buried secrets that reunite our heroes (and villains) on Kong’s Skull Island, and a new, mysterious village where a mythical Titan rises from the sea. The ripple effects of the past make waves in the present day, blurring the bonds between family, friend and foe — all with the threat of a titan event on the horizon."
