NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Shakira showed her cool side recently in a red rose jacket as she touched down in New York City on Thursday, March 9. The ‘Queen of Latin Music’ was reportedly seen with her two sons — 10-year-old Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight – at the JFK airport while sporting a stylish look in a black T-shirt, ripped black jeans, and white trainers.
To accentuate her appearance, she added a black jacket full of red roses. The mother-of-two also donned a baseball cap and huge black sunglasses. The singer’s boys were not looking less stylish than their mother. The little ones wore similar-looking blue hoodies, light-wash jeans, and white trainers.

The trio’s spotting came after reports claimed that Shakira will soon call Miami her home. It has been said that initially, she was planning to move to the US from Barcelona earlier this year but now her arrival is expected to happen on April 1. Laura Fa, a journalist who closely follows the 46-year-old reportedly told the Catalan newspaper El Periodico, “What we're being told today is that she's got a scheduled date to move there which would be April 1. If everything pans out she wants to go on that date.”
Besides, another reporter Lorena Vasquez added, “This is the information we're receiving from the former couple's closest circle. The only obstacle would be the health of Shakira's father and it's been well-documented that his health is a little bit complicated at the moment. Shakira's idea is to take advantage of the Spring Break in the States to be able to travel to Miami with her sons so they could start their classes when the children there come back to class.”
Shakira’s first attempt to shift to Miami was reportedly delayed because of her father’s ill health. At the time, it was said as reported by the Daily Mail, “She cannot make the trip to Miami at the moment. The state of health of her father is very complicated and he wouldn't be able to cope with the flight unless it's in a medicalized aircraft. For the time being she's going to stay put in Barcelona.”

Reports have also said that the ‘Waka Waka’ songstress signed an agreement with her ex, Gerard Pique, over the custody of their children before confirming her plan to move to the States. A statement by the former pair read, “We wish to communicate that we have signed an agreement that guarantees the welfare of our children and that will be ratified in court as part of a mere formal procedure.”
“Our sole objective is to provide them with the utmost security and protection, and we trust that their privacy will be respected. We appreciate the interest shown and hope that the children can continue with their lives with the necessary privacy in a safe and calm environment,” it added.
