Molly Bernard shrugs off troll who accused her of 'pretending' to be pregnant
Molly Bernard slammed a hater who accused her of "pretending" to be pregnant with her first child with Hannah Lieberman. Referring to the Instagram comment, the actress said that she was "honestly obsessed with it" as she shared the troll on her Story on December 28.
"If your belly is protruding, why would you need to show a positive pregnancy test??", the user asked the actress. “Is it because you’re pretending or something???,” read the hate comment.

The 34-year-old actress wrote "Pretending" on the screengrab of the comment she uploaded and drew blue hearts over the story posted online.
In November, the 'Alpha House' alum took to social media to announce her pregnancy through an Instagram carousel of her baby bump pictures.
She wrote: “Thrilled to share the very happy news that @liebhan and I are expecting our first gayby!”. “We couldn’t be more excited to start our parenthood journey! Creating a queer family in a world where lgbtq+ rights are constantly under threat is a daunting task," she added.
Right from her early symptoms to the stage of her growing belly, the actress has been documenting her pregnancy journey to the world through social media. Bernard and Lieberman got married in September 2021, and are now expecting their new child. "Loving Hannah has been one of the most profound highlights of my life and I am honored I get to be a parent with her," she wrote in the post.
In an Instagram post two weeks ago, the couple posted a few pictures of their pregnancy journey and explained about their baby's conceiving through "home insemination."
“I got an egg count ultrasound, peed on my LH [ovulation] sticks for months, took careful notes, and when I fully understood my body as a science project we went for it,” the 'Younger' alum wrote.
On December 13, Bernard shared in an interview with People, the details of the couple conceiving as she said that their doctor recommended them to “get some sperm and try to have sex at home, the way a lot of the world does it.”
“Hannah and I just had sex without a condom one night, and, like, I got pregnant,” she told as the process “miraculously worked.”
The actress credited her 'Younger' co-star and friend Hilary Duff as her “fearless guide” into motherhood. The 35-year-old 'Lizzie McGuire' alum shared her excitement over the couple's baby-to-be phase as she says she “can’t wait to meet” the child. “Molly + Hannah 2 of the most kind-hearted, smart, evolved people I am lucky to know!”, Duff commented on Bernard's post announcing her pregnancy.
