Multiple Grammy award winner and hip-hop veteran Missy Elliott will turn 50 this year and she can still give any hip-hop artist a run for their money. Keeping in mind the same, it seems she is going a notch higher with her music as the hip-hop legend kickstarted 2021 with brand new music by lending a verse to singer Bree Runway’s glamorous music video called ‘ATM.’
The rap heavyweight took to her Twitter to share the good news with her fans where she posted a short video snippet of her new feature. The hashtag “#MissyElliott” was then soon trending on Twitter. Missy Elliott has sold over 30 million records in the United States and she is widely considered as one of the best-selling female rappers in the world.

Missy became the first female rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and received the MTV VMAs Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for her impact on the music video landscape. Missy released her last full-length project in the form of ‘Cookbook’ in 2005, however, she has dropped singles on a regular basis.

Speaking of the song, ‘ATM’ is from Bree’s 2020 debut full-length project ‘2000AND4EVA.’ In the official music video, we see Bree in the first half of the video while the hip-hop icon takes over the second half. While Bree channels her “Sexy diva” side, Missy sticks to her “cool” avatar while rapping, “Met this dude in West Palm Beach, He was so fine, asked, could he call me/ Yeah, probably if you spend your money, But if you don’t got a job, get the hell up off me/ Hopped on my vacation cruise, My type of boo, them Jamaican dudes.”
