'Miss Universe 2019': Who are the judges for the beauty pageant? Meet the 6 women in charge

Miss Universe 2019 will be back with its 68th edition and a selection committee will be deciding who should be crowned Miss Universe.

The 68th edition of the Miss Universe competition will be airing on December 8 at 7/6c on FOX. 90 contestants will be taking part in the show out of which 20 will be selected after going through various rounds and interviews. This year, the viewers will also have a chance to pick their favorite as voting lines for the competition will be open. 

Meanwhile, the judges will also be deciding who is fit to move to the next round. Just like last year, this year too the selection committee consists of all women judges. The following are the judges who will be part of the committee. 

1. Gaby Espino

Gaby Espino is a renowned actress, TV host, entrepreneur,  famous in the Latin American entertainment industry. Gaby gained her popularity after she starred in telenovela “Santa Diabla". Since then, she has done a number of shows, including Netflix's “Jugar con Fuego”. 

2. Bozoma “Boz” Saint John

Bozoma “Boz” Saint John is the chief marketing officer at Endeavor, a global leader in entertainment, sports and fashion. She operates in more than 30 countries and has various companies associated with her name. Some of them include, WME, IMG and UFC. John also served in executive roles at Uber, Apple Music & iTunes, and PepsiCo. 

3. Cara Mund

Cara Mund is no stranger to pageant shows as she was crowned Miss North Dakota 2017. She is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor Degree at Georgetown University Law Center. Mund interests lie in securing individual’s rights in the workplace. After winning the title, Mund advocated the importance of empowering women, education, and community service.

4. Sazan Hendrix

Sazan Hendrix's social media presence helped her start Bless Box subscription company. She also got several opportunities to collaborate with networks such as E!, ESPN and Access Hollywood. She recently entered the world of Podcasts with her show ' The Good Life' which already has 8 million downloads. After overcoming various obstacles in her life, Hendrix hopes to motivate other women to follow their dreams. 

5. Crystle Stewart

Crystle Stewart is a former Miss USA (2008) and Miss Texas USA. She is also an actress and an avid advocate for young women. Stewart got a chance to become a part of pageants from an early age of 20s. Since then, she tried to juggle between pageant life while also spreading her wings in the entertainment industry. She got various opportunities in the film industry. Stewart used her platform to fulfil her lifelong dream of opening a school for girls. 

6. Paulina Vega

Paulina Vega is a former Miss Universe (2014), model, TV host, entrepreneur and life enthusiast. Vega's social media presence opened the doors for her in the beauty industry. She partnered with various beauty and fashion brands. She is also a social activist and her dedication allowed her to become the global ambassador for Rise Against Hunger. 

7. Riyo Mori

Riyo Mori is a Japanese actress, dancer, model and beauty queen. She was crowned as Miss Universe in 2007. She was the second woman from Japan to hold the title. After winning the competition, Mori revealed that she had plans to open a multicultural dance school in Tokyo. She also entered the entertainment industry by taking on roles in reality shows.
