'Best teacher': Fans praise Millie Bobby Brown for directing younger version of Eleven in Stranger Things 4
Martie Blair, the young actress playing the character of Eleven in Stranger Things, has labeled Millie Bobby Brown an inspiration. In most of the flashback scenes, Blair was personally directed and guided by Brown, as confirmed by the writers. What this means is that some of this season's most emotionally challenging scenes were directed by Millie Bobby Brown. What's more, the writers took to their social media to express gratitude for Brown's helping hand.
Blair shared an image of her with Brown on set and captioned it, "Thank you @milliebobbybrown for being such an inspiration to me, when I showed up on set, you came right up to me. You made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Thanks for spending time with me and helping me make my scenes awesome!”

Blair clearly does not shy away from appreciating her senior co-star. She shared another image of the two captioned, "Cheeky ladies!!!! MBB + MMB #milliebobbybrown #martiemarieblair #011 #youngeleven Thank you @milliebobbybrown for being such a great role model, I will be forever grateful"
Brown who is now 18, was just 11 when she started working on Stranger Things. This means that when the Duffer Brothers’ record-smashing sci-fi show first aired back in 2016, she was half as tall as she is now.
Season four of the show takes viewers back to the Hawkins National Laboratory, where Eleven was experimented on as a young girl. For this season’s flashbacks, Brown’s face was superimposed using CGI onto Blair’s, who played Eleven at the age of eight. Viewers shared their opinions, one said, "Mille definitely should get into the coaching biz if she wants to step away from acting after this"
