Mikaela Davis is a young harpist, pianist, singer, and songwriter whose music is along the lines of folk and funk, AM rock and 80s pop experimentation.
Mikaela is all set to release her John Congleton (Angel Olsen, Alvvays, Future Islands, St Vincent) produced debut album titled 'Delivery'.
'Delivery' is a thrilling adventure over 10 tracks which will sonically explore and challenge what the harp can do.
The album also details the sometimes arduous path to self-acceptance and feeling comfortable in your own skin. Mikaela's latest single is the album opener and title track, 'Delivery' which will be accompanied by a Kaleidoscopic interview.
Mikaela Davis will arrive in the UK next week to make her debut at The Great Escape (One Church, Fri 18th May, 8.30pm) and will also play a headline show at The Lexington in London on Tue 22nd May.
Mikaela took to her social media to update her fans on 'Delivery'. She wrote "They say it's all about DELIVERY ~ my full length LP will be released July 13th on Rounder Records! Super pumped to share the first single/ title track with you, produced and engineered by John Congleton, out everywhere today. Had an absolute blast filming the music video with Mike Turzanski."
