Metallica Mondays are back again, and this time the thrash metal titans Metallica are set to entertain fans with a livestreamed concert from Lisbon, Portugal, which will be available for on-demand viewing on their YouTube and Facebook pages. According to the video's description, this online show was taken from a  couple of videotapes in the Metallica Vault that preserved the screen feeds from the gig that was filmed at Parque do Tejo in Lisbon, Portugal on June 28, 2007. All four band members, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo are in fine fettle, setting the stage for a great evening of heavy metal. You can check out the video below:

The setlist for this show includes some old-school favorites such as 'Seek and Destroy', 'Master Of Puppets' and 'One' as well their evergreen intro walk-on music, 'The Ecstasy of Gold', which was composed by the great composer Ennio Morricone, who sadly passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 91. Fans were paying tribute to the great composer with comments like "RIP Ennio Morricone, 'Ecstasy of Gold' is part of the Metallica family soundtrack."

This epic concert was the fifth time that the riffmeisters had played in Portugal, having previously performed in the European country back in 1993, 1996, 1999 and 2004. This was actually the first time that 'Ride the Lightning' was ever performed in Portugal and there were also some rare live recordings being showcased - this was the first time in 18 years that a full version of '...And Justice For All' was being played and the first time in 9 years that a live version of 'Am I Evil?' was played in its entirety as well.
